As a Narrow-Web Digital Press Technician, your primary responsibility will be to operate narrow-web
presses and equipment such as Grafotronic digital converting and finishing, Domino N610i, Durst,
Mühlbauer IL30K RFID insertion, and others. This position requires someone who is self-motivated,
possesses excellent communication skills, and can work well with others. You should be able to
multitask, communicate effectively with every department, and pay close attention to detail. Experience
with narrow-web digital printing and converting equipment is preferred.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Narrow-Web converting and finishing.
• Narrow-Web digital press operation.
• Color management.
• Inventory management.
• Verifying size, color, and type of material.
• Acquire correct artwork from a computer, set up, and run the printing presses accordingly.
• Maintain equipment according to daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly requirements.
• Communicate with a Supervisor and other Managers as needed to complete required work.
• Work within a small team environment to improve processes and workflow.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Work scheduled overtime as determined.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Completes all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Follow all safety and work rules and regulations.
• Other job duties as assigned.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required
• Printing experience.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Perform cleaning duties as assigned.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Undergo a reference or security check.
• Work with a sense of urgency.
• Team player.
• Good at problem-solving.
